Fleet Locksmith & Vehicle Key Services in Chicago

Mobile Key and Lock Service for Chicago Business Fleets

Omega Locksmith provides fleet locksmith service for authorized Chicago businesses operating supported passenger vehicles, cargo vans and light-duty fleet vehicles.

We handle one-vehicle problems and grouped service requests, with intake organized by vehicle, unit number, location and authorization. Coverage is confirmed from the year, make, model and security system before work is scheduled.

Fleet Vehicle Locksmith Services

Replacement and Additional Keys

Make supported transponder keys, remote-head keys, proximity keys and mechanical keys when a fleet vehicle has no working key or needs an authorized spare.

Vehicle Lockouts

Provide authorized entry for supported fleet vehicles when a driver or dispatcher cannot access the vehicle.

Broken or Damaged Keys

Evaluate worn, broken or damaged keys and determine whether cutting, extraction, replacement or additional diagnosis is appropriate.

Ignition and Lock Diagnosis

Inspect supported ignition, door-lock and key-recognition symptoms before recommending repair or replacement.

Grouped Fleet Service

When compatible vehicles are available at the same yard or facility, requests can be organized together to reduce repeated intake and vehicle movement.

Business Vehicles We Evaluate

  • Service and contractor vehicles
  • Delivery cars and cargo vans
  • Rental and replacement vehicles
  • Company cars and sales vehicles
  • Body-shop and repair-facility vehicles
  • Property-maintenance vehicles
  • Supported light-duty trucks
  • Mixed-make passenger fleets

Not every vehicle or security system is supported. Send the year, make, model and VIN before assuming coverage. For inventory held for retail sale, use our dedicated dealer key services.

Information Needed for a Fleet Request

Accurate intake helps prevent the wrong key, remote or programming method from being assigned to a vehicle. For each unit, provide:

  • Year, make, model and VIN
  • Internal fleet or unit number
  • Vehicle location and on-site contact
  • Whether any working key is available
  • Key type when known: blade, transponder, remote-head or proximity key
  • Requested quantity and whether the job is urgent or planned
  • Business ownership or other authorization appropriate to the vehicle
Authorization required: Omega confirms that the business or requesting representative is authorized before opening a vehicle, generating a key, retrieving secure information or changing vehicle access.

Vehicle Identification, Programming and Security Access

Omega uses professional automotive locksmith equipment, including AD Smart Pro and Autel IM608 systems, for supported key programming and vehicle procedures. When secure OEM key-code or security information is required and available, a NASTF VSP-credentialed technician follows the applicable authorization process.

Tool ownership does not guarantee coverage. Software, vehicle modules, security generations, replacement-part compatibility and current manufacturer requirements can change what is possible for a specific unit.

Fleet Service in the Field

Fleet service often happens where the vehicle is parked—at a business, yard, repair facility or approved work location. The vehicle still must be accessible, sufficiently powered and safe to service.

When several vehicles are involved, a clean unit list and an on-site contact help Omega confirm each vehicle before cutting or programming begins.

How Fleet Service Works

  1. Submit the vehicle list. Include the required vehicle, location, key-status and authorization information.
  2. Confirm compatibility. Omega checks available procedures, key or fob compatibility and service coverage for each unit.
  3. Approve the scope. The fleet contact confirms which vehicles and key quantities are authorized before work begins.
  4. Complete and document the work. Finished service can be referenced by vehicle, VIN or fleet unit number on the job and invoice records.

Fleet Accounts and Billing

Qualified organizations may apply for a commercial account. New accounts are card-on-file or due upon receipt during the initial period. Net-15 or Net-30 terms are available only after written credit approval.

Purchase-order, accounts-payable, dispatch, tax-exempt and trade-reference information can be collected during onboarding. Pricing depends on the vehicle, key type, programming procedure, quantity, location and service conditions; a fleet relationship does not create one universal price for every vehicle.

Coverage and Scheduling Limitations

Service availability and response vary by vehicle, security system, location, traffic, weather, urgency, technician availability and replacement-part availability. Omega does not promise a fixed arrival time or claim coverage for every vehicle.

Certain Volkswagen and Audi Immo4/FAZIT situations require a dealer or manufacturer process. Other security systems may also require procedures or components that are not available for mobile service. Omega confirms these limitations from the specific vehicle information.

Chicago Fleet Locksmith FAQs

What types of fleet vehicles does Omega service?

Omega evaluates supported passenger vehicles, cargo vans and light-duty fleet vehicles. Coverage depends on the year, make, model, security system and required key or programming procedure.

Can you make keys when a fleet vehicle has no working key?

Yes, for supported vehicles after ownership and authorization are confirmed. Availability depends on the vehicle security system, required information, compatible replacement parts and current procedures.

Can several fleet vehicles be serviced during one visit?

Compatible requests can be grouped when the vehicles, parts, authorization and service conditions are confirmed in advance. Send a unit list so Omega can review each vehicle separately.

What vehicle information should we provide?

Provide the year, make, model, VIN, fleet unit number, vehicle location, on-site contact, current key status, requested quantity and business authorization for each vehicle.

Does Omega offer fleet credit terms?

Qualified organizations may apply for commercial credit. New accounts are card-on-file or due upon receipt during the initial period; Net-15 or Net-30 terms require written approval.

Can Omega service every make and model?

No. Coverage depends on the vehicle and security system. Certain Volkswagen and Audi Immo4/FAZIT situations require a dealer or manufacturer process, and other unsupported systems may have similar restrictions.
