Dealer Car Key Services in Chicago

Mobile Inventory-Key Support for Chicago Dealerships

Omega Locksmith provides dealer key services for authorized franchise and independent dealerships with supported inventory vehicles in Chicago and the surrounding service area.

Requests can be organized as scheduled lot walks, individual missing-key jobs, auction-intake work or sold-unit delivery holds. Every vehicle is reviewed by VIN, key status and security system before service is confirmed.

Dealer and Inventory Key Services

Missing-Key Generation

Generate supported mechanical, transponder, remote-head and proximity keys for inventory vehicles after dealership authorization is confirmed.

Smart-Key Programming

Program compatible smart keys and remotes using the correct replacement part and supported vehicle procedure.

All-Keys-Lost Service

Handle supported vehicles with no working key when secure information, compatible parts and required programming procedures are available.

Auction and Trade-In Intake

Evaluate newly acquired vehicles, identify the current key situation and separate supported locksmith work from dealer-only procedures.

Sold-Unit Delivery Holds

Prioritize an authorized missing or additional key request when a sold vehicle cannot be delivered as planned. Timing is confirmed per request and is not guaranteed.

Scheduled Lot Walks

Review a prepared vehicle list during planned weekly, bi-weekly or needs-based visits, subject to vehicle coverage, parts and scheduling.

What to Include on the Dealer Work List

A complete work list lets Omega verify coverage and parts before arriving. Provide the following for each vehicle:

  • Full 17-digit VIN
  • Year, make and model
  • Stock or unit number
  • Repair order or purchase-order reference
  • Vehicle location on the lot
  • Whether a working key is available
  • Requested key type and quantity
  • Delivery-hold or routine status
Dealer authorization required: Omega confirms the requesting dealership, authorized contact and vehicle status before opening a vehicle, retrieving secure information, cutting a key or changing programmed access.

How Dealer Key Service Works

  1. Send the vehicle list. Include the VIN, stock number, RO or PO reference, key status and location for every unit.
  2. We verify support. Omega reviews vehicle coverage, required programming, secure-information access and replacement-part compatibility.
  3. The dealer approves the scope. The authorized contact confirms the vehicles, quantities and service priority before work begins.
  4. Service is completed and documented. Job and invoice records can reference the VIN, stock number, RO or PO and completed key service.

Professional Programming and Secure OEM Access

Omega uses professional automotive locksmith equipment, including AD Smart Pro and Autel IM608 systems, for supported dealer inventory. When secure OEM key-code or security information is required and available, a NASTF VSP-credentialed technician follows the applicable authorization process.

Equipment alone does not guarantee coverage. Vehicle software, immobilizer generation, module condition, key compatibility and manufacturer procedures all affect whether a job can be completed by a mobile locksmith.

Lot-Walk Scheduling and Priority Requests

Dealerships may request planned weekly, bi-weekly or needs-based lot service. Priority requests for sold-unit delivery holds may be reviewed when scheduling capacity, vehicle support and required parts allow. No fixed arrival or completion time is guaranteed.

Response and completion vary by location, traffic, weather, vehicle mix, security system, part availability, authorization and technician availability. A prepared work list is the best way to establish what can be scheduled together.

Dealer Pricing, Deposits and Account Terms

There is no monthly retainer or minimum contract. A standard trip fee applies to a single-vehicle visit and is waived when Omega services two or more vehicles during the same visit.

Standard fleet and dealer work requires no deposit. A 50% deposit applies only to rare or exotic OEM parts and special-order modules. Pricing depends on the specific vehicle, key, procedure, quantity and location.

New accounts are card-on-file or due upon receipt during the initial period. Qualified organizations may apply for Net-15 or Net-30 terms, which become available only after written credit approval. Omega accepts ACH/EFT, corporate credit card on file, direct wire and company check.

Vehicle and Service Limitations

Omega does not claim coverage for every vehicle or guarantee successful programming when vehicle electronics, immobilizer modules, power systems or communication networks are damaged.

Certain Volkswagen and Audi Immo4/FAZIT situations require a dealer or manufacturer process. Other security systems may also require components or procedures that are unavailable for mobile service. Send the VIN before promising a delivery date to a retail customer.

For business vehicles kept in active service rather than retail inventory, see our Chicago fleet locksmith services. Dealer groups needing formal onboarding can also review commercial account information.
